Swing on down to The Rock last night to catch me with Not One Stone! It was a great time! The event cost $5! Transport yourself through time and check out the show! (and remind me to cut the highs on my bass before we start).

It’s official: I am the new bassist for Not One Stone! I’m very excited about this project, and it’s been a long time coming. I’ve waded through hundreds of ads, sent dozens of emails, been to a handful of auditions, and there has always been something not quite right. Either the dynamic is off, or expectations and goals are off, or we just don’t fit together right. The exact opposite happened with Not One Stone. The tracks grabbed me right away, and from the second I stepped into their rehearsal space, I felt like I fit right in. They’re a great group of people, talented, extremely friendly, great senses of humor and the music speaks for itself. Also, they fulfill the extremely important criteria that I can only play with drummers
who were former UMM Jazz I drummers. Ok, so that’s not really an actual criteria, but seriously… what are the odds?
Anywho, stay tuned for show announcements and related fun stuff!

Just wanted to give a shout out to the wonderful people I worked with during the Burnsville Theatre Guild production of Urinetown. It’s really a top notch theatre program, and everyone I met was a pleasure to work with. Congratulations and thanks for a wonderful production run!
